Many musicians use their talent as a means of personal escape, or to express a larger personal message. For Steve Thomson, however, music is not a medium of  communication or a way of unplugging from the world, but is an ever‐present reality that is as strong as gravity and as natural as breathing. Steve Thomson is a musician in the same way the rest of us are human beings; it is not his profession or occupation, but it is rather the best way to define his species.

 

At 25 years old, Steve looks to his Christian Faith for inspiration in writing songs with inextricable passion. With the clean‐cut style of Elvis in the 50’s, the edginess of the Beatles in the 60’s, added to the heart of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Thomson effusively pours out an innovative style that will rattle your soul.

 

Whether it’s jamming on the guitar, tickling a piano or belting out vocals, Steve lets the rest of us know that music is not his game, it is not his goal, it is his personification and it is not going away. Now, 8 years after the Lord revealed his gift of music to him, Steve Thomson continues to use his gift to touch as many lives as possible at each pit stop on his life journey where music is not only along for the ride, but is controlling his destination.
